The Panama Hat History

Panama or a panama hats are exclusively made in Ecuador and are woven from a plant called the Toquilla. This hat became known as Panama when the workers involved in the construction of Panama Canal used these hats for protection against the burning sun. These hats are often used as accessories these days. They are usually light colored and light weight. They are especially used for traveling.
